Step 1: Prepare Documents
Prepare the following information and documents to prepare for the application. Before submitting your order, please check the detailed requirements on the application website. The checklist of application related information is below:
-    Nationality of the applicant
-    Port of entry
-    Date of arrival
-    Passport number
-    Passport validity (at least 6 months from the expiry date and at least two blank pages)
-    Soft copy of personal identification photo (passport size) (refer to the Vietnam visa photo requirements
-    Soft copy of passport personal information page 
-    Credit card for online payment of the electronic visa fee

 

Step 2: Apply Online
Go to the application page on this website and fill out the personal contact information and visa application information.

 

Step 3: Fill in applicant’s information and upload documents
Fill in the visa applicant's passport information, upload the photo of the passport information page and protrait photo.

Step 4: Review and Confirm Information filled, Visa Options and Application Fees

 

Step 4: Proceed Payment
Use a credit card or debit card to make an online payment for the electronic visa fee on the website, then wait for your visa application to be processed.

 

Step 5: Visa Processing
After submitting your visa application, you will receive an email confirmation about the electronic visa process. Your application will proceed through the relevant process.

 

Step 6: eVisa Granted
If your electronic visa application is approved, the electronic visa (PDF file) will be sent to the email address provided in your order.

Step 7: Print this eVisa 

The eVisa copy and present it along with your valid passport when arriving at the designated entry point in Vietnam. Vietnam electronic visa holders do not need to pay additional stamping fees upon arrival and can avoid long queues at visa-on-arrival counters!

 

It is recommended to apply for the Vietnam electronic visa well in advance of your travel date to ensure sufficient processing time and avoid any unexpected issues. The Vietnamese government may reject applications for various reasons, including providing inaccurate information, not meeting passport and photo requirements, or having a criminal record. In such cases, applicants need to reapply and pay the visa fee again.
